TORONTO, ON (May 1, 2012) - Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. reported sales of 709 units in April, an increase of 6.7 percent over March 2012. The top sellers of the month were once again the XC60 premium crossover and S60 sport sedan, which sold 199 and 171 units respectively in April.
"The popularity of both the XC60 and S60 has seen a definitive increase following the introduction of the 325hp R-Design models," says Jeff Pugliese, president and CEO, Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. "The introduction of the S60 T5 AWD this summer should only increase this appetite for the premium Scandinavian sport sedan."
