TORONTO (May 2, 2006) – Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. today announced sales in April of 981 units, a decrease of 15.6 per cent compared to the 1,163 units sold during the same month last year.
For the year to date, the company has sold 3,539 units, off 5.4 per cent from the 3,741 units sold during the first four months of 2005.
Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. is part of the Volvo Car Corporation of Göteborg, Sweden. For 2006, the company is proud to introduce the second-generation C70 convertible with a new retractable three piece hardtop.
