Volvo Canada reports March sales

TORONTO (April 3, 2006) – Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. today announced sales in March of 1,261 units, a decrease of 3.9 per cent when compared to the 1,312 units sold during the same month last year.

 

For the year to date, Volvo retailers have sold 2,558 units, representing a decrease of 0.8 per cent from the 2,578 units sold during the first three months of 2005.

 

“Through the first quarter of 2006, Volvo Canada retailers are keeping pace with the sales performance of last year,” said Steve Blyth, President and CEO of Volvo Canada. “2005 was one of the best years in company history, so the line-up’s continuing performance highlights the strength of Volvo vehicles in this market.”
