Volvo Canada Announces October Sales

TORONTO, ON (November 3, 2010) Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. today announced a sales increase of 13.9 percent in October with a total of 434 vehicles sold. Year-to-date sales are also up 3.2 percent in Canada.

This sales increase is greatly attributed the recent introduction of the all-new S60 to the Canadian market. The 2011 S60 T6 sports sedan went on sale at the end of September and looks to bolster Volvo's sales during the fourth quarter as a major volume contributor for VCCC. Boasting 300 horsepower, available Pedestrian Detection with Full Auto Brake, dynamic handling characteristics and stunning design, the S60 T6 is available at a starting price of only $45,450*. "We are very pleased with the sales numbers for October and in particular with the enthusiastic reception of the all-new S60," says Jeff Pugliese, President & CEO, Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. "We look forward to a strong finish this year and an even brighter year in 2011."
