Volvo Canada Sales Continue Year-Over-Year Growth

TORONTO (January 4, 2006) – For the 12 months of 2005, Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. today announced total vehicles sales reached 11,651 units, representing an increase of 4.6 per cent over the 11,135 units sold in 2004.

 

For the month of December, Volvo retailers sold a total of 704 vehicles, a decrease of 6.8 per cent compared to the same month in 2004.

 

“This is the sixth consecutive year of increased sales for Volvo Canada,” said Steve Blyth, President and CEO of Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. “As a result, I would like to congratulate Canada’s Volvo retailers, staff and our corporate partners for all their hard work in 2005. We should all be proud of the results from last year and I encourage you to continue building the momentum that will bring us further success in 2006.”
