TORONTO (December 1, 2005) – Volvo Cars of Canada Ltd. today announced sales of 1,014 vehicles for the month of November, an increase of 24 per cent compared to 820 vehicles sold during the same month in 2004.
Year-to-date, Volvo retailers have sold 10,947 vehicles, an increase of 5.5 per cent over the 10,380 vehicles sold during the first eleven months of 2004.
“That was the best November for Volvo Canada since 1974,” said Larry Futers, vice president, sales for Volvo Canada. “It was also one of our best months for vehicles equipped with all-wheel drive. More than 70 per cent of the Volvo vehicles sold last month featured the technology.”
