Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. today announced vehicle sales totaling 2,686 during the first five months of 2010, representing an increase of 6.3 percent over the same period in 2009.
"Many of our models have seen significant growth," says Jeff Pugliese, President & CEO, Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. "Individually, the S40 saw 85 percent growth in sales, S80 increased 83.5 percent, XC60 44.5 percent, and the C70 jumped 103.3 percent compared to the first five months of 2009."
A total of 642 units were sold in May, off 16.9 percent over the same month in 2009. Models S80, XC60 and C70 enjoyed increases of 11.4 percent, 52.9 percent and 62.5 percent respectively over the month of May in 2009.
