RICHMOND HILL, ON (Thursday, May 4, 2023) – Volvo Car Canada Ltd. reports sales results for April: a total of 905 vehicles were retailed throughout the month, down 13.5 percent compared to the same period last year. Year-to-date, the company has sold a total of 3,413 vehicles in Canada, representing an increase of 6.7 percent when compared to the same time last year.
These results were bolstered by sales of Volvo’s in demand lineup of Recharge models – those with pure electric and plug-in hybrid powertrains – which accounted for 40.3 percent of overall sales for the month.
Volvo Car Canada’s pre-owned division, Certified by Volvo, retailed a total of 357 units for the month, up 48.1 percent compared with the same month last year.
