Volvo Car Canada Ltd. Reports March Sales Results

  • Volvo Car Canada overall sales up 10.5 percent over March of 2022
  • Year-to-date, Recharge models (EV and PHEV) represented 38 percent of sales

RICHMOND HILL, ON (Wednesday, April 5, 2023) – Volvo Car Canada Ltd. is pleased to report its sales results for March: a total of 969 vehicles were retailed throughout the month, up 10.5 percent compared to the same period last year. Year-to-date, the company has sold a total of 2, 508 vehicles in Canada, representing an increase of 16.5  percent when compared to the first quarter of 2022.

 

These results were bolstered by sales of Volvo’s in demand lineup of Recharge models – those with pure electric and plug-in hybrid powertrains – which accounted for 38 percent of overall sales during the first quarter.

 

Volvo Car Canada’s pre-owned division, Certified by Volvo, retailed a total of 330 units for the month, up 9 percent compared with the same month last year.
