RICHMOND HILL, ON (Friday, March 3rd, 2023) – Volvo Car Canada Ltd. is pleased to report its sales results for February: a total of 802 vehicles were retailed throughout the month, for an increase of 14 percent when compared to February of 2022.

These results were bolstered by sales of Volvo’s in demand lineup of Recharge models – those with pure electric and plug-in hybrid powertrains – which accounted for 44 percent of all new vehicle sales for the brand in Canada.

Volvo Car Canada’s pre-owned division, Certified by Volvo, retailed a total of 269 units for the month, up 5 percent compared with the same month last year.

“Strong results across all areas of our business have placed us on a solid footing as we look to close out the first quarter,” said Matt Girgis, managing director, Volvo Car Canada Ltd. “The sustained interest in our Recharge lineup of vehicles is encouraging and the launch of our electrified Model Year 2023 lineup will add to this momentum as we approach spring.”
