TORONTO (September 1, 2005) – Volvo Cars of Canada Ltd. today announced sales of 1,042 vehicles for the month of August, an increase of 6.8 per cent over the same month in 2004.
Year-to-date, Volvo retailers have sold 8,174 vehicles representing an increase of 9.7 per cent over the 7,451 vehicles sold during the first eight months of 2004.
“August represents the thirteenth consecutive month of positive sales growth for Volvo Canada and its retailers,” said Larry Futers, Vice President of Sales for Volvo Cars of Canada Ltd. “Our collective success stems from a winning combination of a strong, diverse product line-up and a team of professional and dedicated sales staff at Volvo retailers across the country.”
