RICHMOND HILL, ON (Monday, April 4, 2022) – Volvo Car Canada Ltd. is pleased to report its sales results for March: a total of 877 vehicles were retailed throughout the month, for an increase of 0.5 percent when compared to March of 2021. Year-to-date, the company has sold a total of 2,153 vehicles in Canada, representing an increase of 3 percent when compared to the first quarter of 2021.
Led by the volume driving XC60 Recharge, demand for Volvo’s exciting lineup of plug-in hybrid and pure electric SUVs remained strong in March, with electrified powertrains accounting for 33 percent of all new vehicle sales for the brand in Canada.
Certified by Volvo, Volvo Car Canada’s pre-owned division, retailed a total of 302 units for the month of March, representing a decrease of 12 percent when compared to last year.
