RICHMOND HILL, ON (Wednesday, March 2, 2022) – Volvo Car Canada Ltd. is pleased to report its sales results for February: a total of 701 vehicles were retailed throughout the month, for an increase of 2.0 percent when compared to February of 2021. Year-to-date, the company has sold a total of 1,276 vehicles in Canada, representing an increase of 4.1 percent when compared to 2021.
Led by the volume driving XC60 Recharge, demand for Volvo’s exciting lineup of plug-in hybrid and pure electric SUVs remained strong in February, with electrified powertrains accounting for 30.7 percent of all new vehicle sales for the brand in Canada.
Certified by Volvo, Volvo Car Canada’s pre-owned division, retailed a total of 255 units for the month of February, representing a decrease of 1.5 percent when compared to last year.
