Volvo Car Canada Ltd. Reports February Sales Results

  • Volvo Car Canada overall sales up 2.0 percent over February 2021
  • Recharge models (EV and PHEV) represented 30.7 percent of total February sales nationwide

RICHMOND HILL, ON (Wednesday, March 2, 2022) – Volvo Car Canada Ltd. is pleased to report its sales results for February: a total of 701 vehicles were retailed throughout the month, for an increase of 2.0 percent when compared to February of 2021. Year-to-date, the company has sold a total of 1,276 vehicles in Canada, representing an increase of 4.1 percent when compared to 2021.

 

Led by the volume driving XC60 Recharge, demand for Volvo’s exciting lineup of plug-in hybrid and pure electric SUVs remained strong in February, with electrified powertrains accounting for ­­­ 30.7 percent of all new vehicle sales for the brand in Canada.

 

Certified by Volvo, Volvo Car Canada’s pre-owned division, retailed a total of 255 units for the month of February, representing a decrease of 1.5 percent when compared to last year.
