Volvo Car Canada Ltd. Reports November Sales Results

RICHMOND HILL, ON (Wednesday, December 1, 2021) – Volvo Car Canada Ltd. is pleased to report its sales results for the month of November: a total of 922 vehicles were retailed throughout the month, for a decrease of 8.2 percent when compared to November of 2020. Year-to-date, the company continues to outpace last year’s results, and has delivered a total of 10,356 units, for an increase of 26 percent.

Led by the volume driving XC60 SUV, demand for Volvo’s exciting lineup of plug-in hybrid and pure electric SUVs remained strong, with electrified powertrains accounting for a record 28 percent of all new vehicle sales for the brand in Canada.

Volvo Car Canada’s pre-owned division, Certified by Volvo, retailed 229 units in the month of November, for a year-to-date total of 3,100 units delivered.

“The Volvo Car Canada team has continued to deliver our in-demand lineup of electrified vehicles to Canadian customers,” said Matt Girgis, managing director of Volvo Car Canada Ltd. “In the face of industry wide challenges, we are excited to see continued interest in our Recharge vehicles and great strength in our SUV segments. The launch of our first pure-electric, the C40 SUV, coupled with our Holiday Safely sales event, will help us continue to grow our momentum and close out 2021 on a high note.”
