RICHMOND HILL, ON (Friday, February 14, 2020) – A million kilometres in an everyday car is anything but an everyday achievement. Today, Volvo Car Canada Ltd. celebrated this milestone for a long-standing customer who exceeded one million kilometres in their 2006 Volvo V70.
To mark this momentous occasion, Adam Kostanowicz, Director of Sales, met Rita Neuman in person at her local Volvo Retailer, Van Herpt Motors Limited, in Kingston, Ontario to present her with a token of appreciation for her loyalty, commitment and to recognize her as a part of the Volvo Family.
“A million kilometres shows Rita’s dedication not only to her own vehicle, but also to our brand,” said Adam Kostanowicz. “Rita recently purchased a 2019 V60 from Van Herpt Motors and still continues to drive her million-kilometre V70, which truly signals her love for the iron mark.”
Neuman and her husband use the vehicle as their primary mode of transportation and are volunteer drivers for an organization in the Ottawa region where they provide door-to-door health care and support. “I originally purchased the V70 because we knew the Volvo brand represented safety and reliability,” said Rita Neuman. “The vehicle has allowed us to positively impact our community and for that, we are the grateful ones.”
