Volvo Car Canada Ltd. Reports 6.1 Percent Growth Year to Date in September

RICHMOND HILL, ON (Tuesday, October 1, 2019) – Today, Volvo Car Canada Ltd. reported sales of 871 units for the month of September representing a 12 percent increase for the month within an industry that was down in Canada by 4 percent. Year to date Volvo Canada has sold a total of 7,506 vehicles in 2019 compared to 7,069 vehicles sold in 2018, an increase of 6.1 percent.

 

Certified Pre-Owned sales of 1,884 units in 2019 represented a 16.8 percent year to date growth, with 214 units sold in September. 

 

“Among the standout models contributing to our strong sales for September were the XC60 and S60,” said Matt Girgis, managing director of Volvo Car Canada. “Our S60 mid-sized sedan sales especially bucked the industry trend, posting an impressive gain of 247 percent year over year. I am confident we’ll continue to see year over year growth from our full product line up of premium SUVs, wagons, sedans and hybrid models.”
