RICHMOND HILL, ON (Wednesday, September 4, 2019) – Today, Volvo Car Canada Ltd. reported sales of 830 units for the month of August. Year to date Volvo Canada has sold a total of 6,635 vehicles in 2019 compared to 6,291 vehicles sold in 2018, representing an increase of 5.5 percent.
August represented the best sales month on record for Certified Pre-Owned since September 2016 with 294 units sold, representing a year to date growth of 19.1 percent.
“Strong sales of our XC line up have led to another impressive month of continued growth,” said Matt Girgis, managing director of Volvo Car Canada. “August illustrated that Canadian consumers are showing interest in not only our new products, but also our pre-owned offerings which meet the strictest criteria and are backed by our best-in-class warranty.”
