Volvo Car Canada Ltd. Reports 30% Growth in 2018.

 

Swedish Brand Reports highest December Sales since 2007

 

RICHMOND HILL, ON. (January 3rd, 2019.) Volvo Car Canada Ltd. reported a 12% sales increase for the month of December with 745 units sold compared to 668 vehicles sold in 2017.

 

Year to date, Volvo Canada has sold a total of 9, 217 vehicles in 2018 compared to 7, 102 vehicles sold year to date in 2017 representing an increase of 30%.

 

“The year 2018 marks another step in the growth of the Volvo brand in Canada with strong performance across the range of our beautiful new products. With the launch of S60 sedan and V60 wagon, we have completed the product portfolio rejuvenation started in 2015. Volvo now has arguably the strongest lineup of SUVs in the luxury segment including award winning XC90, XC60 and XC40 launched in 2018. We will continue to grow the business in Canada with the launch of Volvo V60 Cross Country in Q1 2019, and accelerate our growth in all the segments.’’ said Alexander Lvovich, Managing Director, Volvo Car Canada Ltd.
