Volvo Canada Announces October Sales

Reports Thirteenth Consecutive Month-to-Date Sales Growth

 

RICHMOND HILL, ON. (November 1, 2016.) Volvo Car Canada Ltd. reported total sales of 487 units in October 2016 compared to 455 sales in October 2015, representing an increase of 7.1%. This marks the thirteenth consecutive reported month-to-date sales growth.

 

Year to date, Volvo Canada has sold a total of 5,215 vehicles in 2016 compared to 4,033 vehicles sold year to date in 2015 representing an increase of 29.3%.

 

“Volvo in Canada continues to have success in 2016 and we have now reported our thirteenth consecutive month-to-date in sales growth,” said Alexander Lvovich, Managing Director, Volvo Car Canada Ltd. “The XC90 continues to be our strongest performer, however we continue to see positive results from our S60, V60 and XC60 thanks to the available Special Edition packaging.”

 

Additionally, CPO sales in October 2016 totaled 271 units versus 161 units sold in October 2015 representing an increase of 68.3%. Year to date, Volvo Canada reports 1,940 sales in 2016 compared to 1,379 in 2015; this represents an increase of 40.7%.
