Volvo Canada Announces August Sales
RICHMOND HILL, ON. (September 1, 2016.) Volvo Car Canada Ltd. reported total sales of 568 units in August 2016 compared to 483 sales in August 2015, representing an increase of 17.6%.
Year to date, Volvo Canada has sold a total of 4,275 vehicles in 2016 compared to 3,241 vehicles sold year to date in 2015 representing an increase of 31.9%.
“For the eleventh consecutive month, Volvo Canada has experienced month-to-date sales growth, marking great success and continued growth for the brand,” said Alexander Lvovich, Managing Director of Volvo Car Canada Ltd. “The arrival of the S90, coupled with the steady success of our XC90 and XC60 models, has prepared the Volvo brand for a strong fall sales season in Canada.”
Additionally, CPO sales in August 2016 totaled 230 units versus 132 units sold in August 2015 representing an increase of 74.24%. Year to date, Volvo Canada reports 1,376 sales in 2016 compared to 1,070 in 2015; this represents an increase of 28.6%.
