Volvo announces February sales results

 

TORONTO (March 3, 2009) - Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. today announced vehicle sales reached 363 units in February, a 27% increase from January.  Compared to February 2008 sales were down 20.6 percent.  

 

Year-to-date, Volvo Canada sold 649 units, down 32.3 per cent from the first two months of 2008.

 

The company continues to see success with its XC90, which recorded a 37 percent increase in sales for 2009 when compared to the same period last year.
