Volvo Canada Announces December and Year-End Sales

 

Richmond Hill, ON. January 6, 2015 - Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. reported total sales of 340 units in December 2015 compared to 284 sales in December 2014, representing an increase of 19.7%.

 

In 2015, Volvo Canada sold a total of 4,788 vehicles compared to 4,466 vehicles sold in 2014, representing an increase of 7.2%.

 

“Volvo Canada is pleased to report a strong sales year in 2015; one that can be attributed to the re-invigoration of the Volvo brand and product lineup.” said Marc Engelen, President & CEO of Volvo Cars of Canada. “The all-new XC90, in addition to popular models such as the XC60 and V60, were large contributors to our success in 2015. Volvo Canada is poised to have a strong 2016, due in part to these models, as well as the much-anticipated S90 as we continue to reclaim our stake in the luxury segment.”

 

Additionally, CPO sales in December 2015 totaled 125 units versus 111 units sold in December 2014 representing an increase of 12.6%. In 2015, Volvo Canada reported 1,672 in total sales compared to 1,335 in 2014; this represented an increase of 25.2%.
