Volvo announces August sales results

 

TORONTO (September 3, 2008) - Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. today announced vehicle sales reached 453 units in August.

 

Year-to-date, Volvo Canada has sold 4,770 units, off 29.9 per cent from the 6,804 sold during the first eight months of 2007.

 

"The 2008 model year inventory is coming to an end and the focus is now on the 2009 line-up currently being launched in markets across Canada," said Jeff Pugliese, President and CEO of Volvo Canada. "These latest sales represent both 2008 and 2009 vehicle sales."
