Volvo Canada Announces August Sales

 

Richmond Hill, ON. September 2, 2015 - Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. reported total sales of 483 units in August 2015 compared to 309 sales in August 2014, representing an increase of 56.3%.

 

Year to date, Volvo Canada has sold a total of 3,241 vehicles in 2015 compared to 3,049 vehicles sold year to date in 2014 representing an increase of 6.3%. The all-new XC90 represented 190 units sold in August as the luxury SUV continues to generate interest throughout the Canadian market.

 

“Volvo Canada demonstrated another strong month this past August,” said Marc Engelen, President & CEO of Volvo Cars of Canada. “The XC90, coupled with an already impressive model lineup, has prepared Volvo Canada for a strong end to 2015.”

 

Additionally, CPO sales in August 2015 totaled 132 units versus 112 units sold in August 2014 representing an increase of 17.9%. Year to date, Volvo Canada reports 1070 sales in 2015 compared to 1014 in 2014; this represents an increase of 5.5%.
