Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. today announced it would be offering Canadians with valid memberships to Costco Wholesale Canada Ltd. retail locations exclusive added incentives on the Volvo XC90 luxury SUV, the versatile XC70 and the S60 sport sedan for a limited time.
Current Costco members who purchase or lease a qualified 2008 or 2009 model year XC90, XC70 or S60 between September 2 and November 15, 2008, will receive an additional $1,500 incentive toward the price of their vehicle as well as a credit for $1,250 in accessories. The Costco offer can also be combined with Volvo Canada's existing incentive program.
"With 7.6 million Costco members in Canada, this program has the opportunity to introduce Volvo vehicles to a wide range of customers," said Jeff Pugliese, President and CEO of Volvo Canada. "By combining this exclusive offer with Volvo Canada's current incentives, Costco members will find incredible value in one of our luxury vehicles."
As part of the promotion, selected Costco Wholesale locations will display Volvo vehicles and have product specialists on-hand to offer test drives and presentations.
"We believe there are significant similarities between Costco members and Volvo vehicle owners," said Pugliese. "Both are looking for high quality, versatile products at an attractive price. Volvo owners also pay careful attention to the safety systems in their choice of vehicle. Through this promotion, Volvo Canada will have the opportunity to present its safety message to a large number of consumers."
