Volvo Canada Announces October Sales

 

TORONTO, ON. November 4, 2014 - Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. reported total sales of 405 units in October 2014 compared to 358 sales in October 2013, representing an increase of 13.1%.

 

The S60 model generated the most sales in October, accounting for 127 units sold. The XC60 also generated strong sales, with 122 units sold.

 

Year to date, Volvo Canada has sold a total of 3,882 in 2014 compared to 4,085 vehicles sold year to date in 2013. This represents a decrease of 5.2% compared to the year-to-date sales from 2013.

 

“Sales generated this past month began what Volvo Canada expects to be successful fourth quarter,” said Marc Engelen, President & CEO, Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. “S60 and XC60 sales attributed to a strong October as we continue to look ahead to new additions to our model lineup in 2015.”

 

Additionally, CPO sales in October totaled 129 units, an increase of 1.6% versus 2013.
