Volvo Canada Announces September Sales

TORONTO, ON. October 2, 2014 - Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. reported total sales of 428 units in September 2014 compared to 363 sales in September 2013, representing a 17.9% increase.

The ever-popular XC60 was the top-selling vehicle this past month with 184 units sold. The XC90 also posted strong September sales with 72 units sold, likely attributed to customer interest in the remaining classic body style inventory.

Year to date, Volvo Canada has sold a total of 3,477 in 2014 compared to 3,727 vehicles sold year to date in 2013. This represents a decrease of 6.7% compared to the year-to-date sales from 2013.

“In anticipation of the all-new XC90 debut in the first quarter of 2015, current XC90 roll-out has shown very strong sales,” said Marc Engelen, President & CEO, Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. “XC90 sales, coupled with the always-strong sales of the XC60, resulted in a very positive September.”

Additionally, CPO sales in September totaled 118 units, an increase of 24% versus 2013.
