The Floby Plant was opened in 1957. It is a component factory which manufactures chassis and engine components. Number of employees 306 (Jan. -02).
Floby Plant is today producing brakediscs and connecting rods for Volvo S80, Volvo V70 and Volvo S60. Floby also manufactures axle shafts and hub units for Volvo Truck Corporation.
