Thai-Swedish Assembly (TSA) is majority owned and controlled by Volvo Car Corporation.

 

The factory was founded 1976. Accumulated production 1976 - 2001: 46,939 cars (Volvo cars and LR only), excluding Trucks and Buses.

 

Number of employees (Dec 2001) is 364 where of VCC 305.

 

Models and variants 2001: S/V40, S70, S60, S80, V70 and V70 XC, Trucks and Buses.

 

Total capacity in the factory: 6000 cars/1 shift, 10000 cars/2 shifts.

The factory was certified ISO 9001 in 2000 and ISO 14001 in 1996.
