Volvo V60 Named Motoring TV’s Luxury Car of the Year

Richmond Hill, ON. March 26th, 2015. The Volvo V60 has been named the 2015 Luxury Car of the Year by Motoring TV, Canada’s longest running weekly national television series. The two finalist’s that were competing against the V60 were the Cadillac ATS and the Kia K900.

“Volvo Canada is pleased to see the continued recognition for the V60 sportswagon,” said Marc Engelen, President & CEO of Volvo Cars of Canada. “The V60 is a dynamic vehicle offering fuel efficiency, sportiness and performance all in a dynamic package. From the Drive-E engine to the Polestar, the V60 is a model designed for versatility.”

“With 75% of the light vehicle market belonging to the truck side, a wagon with personality and practicality becomes a beacon on the car side of the ledger.” stated representatives of Motoring TV. “The Volvo V60 does what any crossover can do, but it does it with panache, style, and more importantly, the ability to drive through a corner with the best of them. Throw the Polestar into the mix and you have a superb all-rounder.”

The V60 model can be equipped with a Drive-E engine and is offered with front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive capabilities. The Canadian market is also one of thirteen markets to offer the V60 Polestar.
