BIOGRAPHY

Hans-Olov Olsson has spent most of his professional career at Volvo, where he has held several senior positions throughout the years.  Few people know Volvo Cars as well as Mr. Olsson does and he has played a central role in Geely Holding Group's acquisition of Volvo Cars.  As a senior advisor for the investment bank Rothschild, Mr. Olsson advised Geely on the acquisition of Volvo Cars.  Having spent over six years in Asia and with good relations to Ford, Mr. Olsson will play an important role in ensuring the long-term success of Volvo Cars.

 

Apart from Mr. Olsson's extensive Volvo experience, he also sits on the board of Elanders and SKF.  Mr. Olsson is Chairman of the board for Chalmers University of Technology and is a member of the board in King Carl Gustaf's trust called Ungt ledarskap, Anna Lindh's memory fund and Tällberg Forum.

Mr. Olsson holds an Honorary Degree in Economics from the University of Gothenburg, School of Business, Economics and Law.
