Volvo wird eine führende Rolle beim weltweit ersten großangelegten Pilotprojekt zum autonomen Fahren einnehmen. Dabei werden 100 selbstfahrende Volvo Fahrzeuge unter Alltagsbedingungen auf öffentlichen Straßen rund um Göteborg unterwegs sein. Das bahnbrechende Projekt „Drive Me – Selbstfahrende Autos für eine nachhaltige Mobilität“ wurde bei der Pressekonferenz am 2. Dezember 2013 in Stockholm offiziell vorgestellt.
